Pokemon Battle League Thread

Hello i'll like the announce a official thread for pokemon battles
These battles are for fun and competitive Pokemon players
here is more info about battles and how its going to go down for the 2014 year battles on fg
Get your Friend Codes ready!











Battles and Result Tracking
.Players may battle as often as they like during the Wi-Fi Competition •
Competition results will be tracked separately from GBU Random Matchups, and the competition ranking will be displayed in the •
.Competition Info section
Usable Pokémon
.All Pokémon Level 51 or higher will have their level reduced to Level 50 during the battle •
.Pokémon below Level 50 remain at their actual level rather than being raised to Level 50 for the battle •
.A player's team may not contain two Pokémon with the same National Pokédex number •

Pokémon may use only moves learned by one of these methods •
1) By leveling up
2) By TM or HM
3) As an Egg Move, through breeding
4) From a character in the game
5) Already known by a Pokémon received at an official Pokémon event or promotion








Games to be used

.Pokemon White 2 and Pokemon Black 2

Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

There will also be Quick Draw Tournaments but more information about this coming soon

add your FC= Friend Code too register for the Quick Draw Tournament

Pokemon Online

Here you can play an online simulator if you do not have a DS, DSi, or 3DS and 2DS

Also it is an official thread when we confirm it to be one so for now it will be unofficial.

Update. Added Pokémon Online Simulator for online battles for the people with out Handheld Nintendo DS.

It's cool that there's an online play for people who don't have the games, but I spend too much time in-game (IV breeding etc.) to simply use an online variant.

Plus, I prefer lv 100 standards rather than lv 50. Mine work much better in the 100 meta.

Working on a 31/31/31/x/31/31 Aegislash and only need the speed IV =o.

Anyways good luck all who participate.

Awesome the bracket will be posted on Monday of next week for DS users. You can register then tournament will start Jan 6 ,2014 so that gives people time to get the game and a DS to play and on Dec 27, 2013 the official Pokemon Bank transfer system will be coming out

PS: for the Pokemon transfer ill be posting some level 100 pokemon ima be giving away since the Bank Transfer can go into other Pokemon games Like Pokemon W/B, Pokemon W2/B2 and other Pokemon games that came out for DS and bring them to Pokemon X/Y !! and here is more info on that

Yeah there will be a level 100 Standard format coming on 12/23/13 since the Pokemon Bank will be crazy for competitive players
