Usually, my fps ranges from 300-500. However, today it's not been going higher than a 100, which is a horrible gaming experience by the way.

I've tried reinstalling/restarting several times but I cannot seem to find what's causing this FPS drop. Any ideas/solutions will be appreciated

Maybe it's the map your playing? I had this before in Garden,Port and others. Now mine are fixed. Maybe programs you run while your playing is causing this FPS lag?

No, it's not the maps. I know which ones cause FPS lag and which ones do not, and also under what circumstances. Also, I'm mostly aware of the background processes running on my computer, and I use game booster so I don't think it's that either...I really don't understand this FPS lagg :/

Hi Profection. Try closing applications such as: Skype and any other programs you don't use while playing GunZ.

If lag is fixed, try to open programs one by one and check which one is causing you to lag.

PS: Skype today has been lagging me due to a new update.

You might've gotten infected as well I highly recommend scanning your computer if you notice anything suspicious or something out of the ordinary etc.

Tried it, still laggs regardless of which programs are or aren't running :/

That's probably most logical. I've already ran a couple of full system scans but still the FPS lagg prevails. So, I suppose, the only thing left to try now is to reinstall Windows 8..Unless there are other suggestions?

I did try it :/. Then, I opened GunZ and my fps remained around 100. Then I reinstalled Game Booster. But now, on your word, I will try it again now..

    ..*attempting"**

FPS remains around 100 still, as opposed to the usual 300-500.
