It'd be more useful if you immerse yourself into the categories, see which of them you like and post them. Then we, or at least, I can tell you which one of those genres / categories I liked.

uhh shows that are shounen and funny
you could try Magi or Blue exorcist, both are pretty good shounen animes that are not too long

If you like "kuroko's basketball" then I highly recommend Slam Dunk as it is centered around Basket Ball as well. If Slam Dunk isn't your thing how about "Prince of Tennis"?
