[Help - Launcher] Windows 8, duh problems!

It's quite obvious that a lot of people are having troubles with Windows 8 when playing FG. It's either the fact that the game just refuses to start up, or the fact that it lags like no tomorrow, or even both of those. Although, I didn't post this to inform you lads, I actually came to ask if there's any solutions to this, or if this is being looked into and being solved? I'm running Windows 8, and not Windows 8.1, but this is because I play other games as well and I'm afraid they'll stop working if I do update Windows. However, if this is really neccessary in order to start playing FS, I might proceed with updating my computer. But for now, I'd like to know if this well-known problem is being worked on?

I can play any game using Windows 8, have occurred no problems till now.

FGunZ works perfectly fine with Windows 8 though, I've been playing FGunZ on Windows 8 for a long time.
The fact that FGunZ refuses to start can be caused by your anti-virus or you did not run the redist files in the redist folder of FGunZ.

Lagg issues can be caused by background processes or your hardware.
Please read this thread (DXDiag part).

if he is a gamer ,, so i prefer a win 7 64 bit also you can compare win 8 with win 7 64 bit for gaming and he is asking to solve his problem with out ruin other games..
and if my comment was a short that doesn't mean useless so please keep calm

Im using win8 =) it's working.. no problem.. maybe by your AV is blocking gunz..

Only issues I find when I play Gunz on window 8 is it'll randomly close it's self at times.

I hate windows 8 and its did to me same thing .
