    I see a lot of graphical work in Photoshop but very little in Illustrator. When it honestly comes down to it, Photoshop is (at times) not the best tool for the job, but seeing that there are far more tutorials dealing with Photoshop, people use it regardless. If anyone wishes to give Illustrator a try, I could do some video tutorials (or maybe even some streaming sessions) dealing with the program. I am by far more developed in Photoshop, but in the past 6 months I have become quite proficient at Illustrator as well.

    This thread is simply to see if there would be an interest @ Freestyle in individuals learning Illustrator, if not, I will find something else to do.

    Illustrator isn't really something I would recommend most people to use, unless they are trying to do very extensive vector work or commercial work.

    As far as writing tutorials, there's many out there, and some very detailed:

    Let thy mind,
    Hundreds of aeons hence,
    Be set on the midst of knowledge,
    And reject thy source of ignorance.

    I've used illistrator for logos as it's vector and not bitmap like Photoshop. I'd honestly be interested in learning more! C;

    There are many uses in which Illustrator and Photoshop can be used in conjunction with each other, but without knowledge in both programs, limits you drastically. Logo, website, and other digital design work as well as most printed materials use Illustrator. This is not even to mention the illustrative properties used in both programs.

    Can you make a signature out of Illustrator? Probably not the average signature people are used to, but to just disregard the program seems silly.

    Edit: Did a basic covering of tools and art boards. Will work on design work next time, anyone have any suggestions?
