[Help - Launcher] "failed to initialize direct x"

I've got a friend that is trying to download FSTYLE Gunz, although he can't manage to make it work. He gets the following problem, ""FAILED TO INITIALIZE DIRECT X", as he tries to open up the launcher. I've tried to help him out by going through the FAQ, and following the instructions, although the problem is the fact that config.xml doesn't exist, at all, on his computer. Has this happened to other players, and is there a way to fix it?

A possible fix:

• Delete GunZ.exe and run the launcher
• Try update your DirectX
• Or run the redistx64 or redistx86 (depending on your OS)

I suggest you follow the steps in this tutorial, I've added every single solution to your problem, if that doesn't work please get back to me
