Have you got any anti-viruses?
If so - make sure Gunz.exe and FGunz Launcher is in the exception list, or the actual folder is. (Or alternatively you can just disable your AV whilst you play GunZ).

If you don't have any anti-virus, restart your internet, try P-forward Gunz Ports (7000-8000).
Open your .txt logs and make sure they don't say:

The update server is not responding or is not running right now.
[Tip] Please check your firewall.
[Tip] Please try again after a while.

If these don't work, CMD - ipconfig - go to your router settings by typing in the Default Gateway IP given in the CMD/IPconfig command (do this on Internet Explorer/Firefox/Chrome)
Google your router on how to open your NAT. If your NAT is on strict, it may not allow p2p or any ports to access your internet.
