I've made this to test photoshop gif skills (apparently not good enough) wanted it as a gif initially but its size went over 70 MB! with the resolution of 1080p so ive exported it to youtube instead. here is a repetable : http://www.listenonrepeat.com/watch/?v=fuIQhLP-kkw

EDIT2: Increased the amount of frames and deleted the last frame, hereby removing the lag when it loops again.

It was all a test in using Photoshop's Timeline capabilities. if you didnt understand the whole point of this thread already...

You do understand why it didnt work as a GIF right?

GIF has minuscule compression, all dealing with color reduction and dithering. MP4 and other video types use tracking data. This means if you have say me talking on camera, the background will not change for 20-30 frames until another keyframe. Only where movement is made changes between these keyframes. GIF simply is a set of images all in a row, no smart tracking at all.

Another problem is GIF is horrible with matrix compression, so large images use much more in the way of file size and resources than a smaller image.

Thanks for the info. i realised i also forgot to disable some options like transparency when exporting. its not an issue anymore since the main reason the size is very big is that I rendered it in 1080 resolution which wouldn't be useful anywhere, hence why i exported a more usefull MP4 version.
