Something I made quick yesterday, it's been awhile since I've GFX'd so I thought I'd throw it up for CNC.

I think the render is pretty ugly, overpowers everything else, at least for me anyway

but then again, i dont know much about gfx anyway
Decided to burn a lot of calories today, so I set a fat kid on fire.

Render needs that black outlining around it either removing or blended in.
It seems like it's just thrown on top of what could be a nice background.

GURL you be needin some time. I quit and came back to photoshop too, it's gonna be hard first, having your mind blocked, no ideas and nothing to do. But if you spend some time with it, you'll get around the good stuff. However for this specific peace, the background looks LQ and the texture is kind of bad (maybe it's weird smudge idk) the render itself is also bad, it has no color scheme, so for this kind of renders you'd have to choose some colors and focus on them. Text is meh, I'd prefer it white and on top of the render. Good luck with further experiments
