It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.

maybe something is conflicting on the program? e.g downloaded unknown software or something.. that's why the gunz.exe process doesnt get the local ip.? or maybe it has to do with his config.

Change folder the game is in, disable UAC, (shot in the dark) get a loopback adapter, try with firewall and AV disabled, try "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew" in command prompt, uhhhh... Not sure what else I'd try
