    Hey guys,

    I am having a problem with my FPS. My usual FPS is >1000 ... when I play gunz I am getting locked at 75~ FPS . I am using windows 8.1, ALienware 17 with i7 4700m 2.4 processor, 3gb NVIDIA GTX 770M.. where is the problem here? Also tried running in compatability "Windows 7 Mode" and I get logged out as "Hacker detected".. How should I fix this ? Any advice?

    in the options section of gunz, you can limit your FPS.

    please check that this isnt on / whats causing the problem

    yse this is not the probleem, my fps capped at 0 in the setings, also tried 500, 250, always bringing me back to 60-75 fps... and this is not even normal 60-75 fps, its unplayabe.. also have tried allowing in firewall and has not fixed the problem..

    Make sure your graphic driver isnt forcing additional render effects.
    Are you running fullscreen or window mode?
    Is your installed driver a beta driver?

    Hello Windsolo,

    I'd like you to run a dxdiag scan and post the results.
    You can do that by holding your Windows Key + R > the Run will open > type in dxdiag and hit enter.
    When the scan has finished completely, click on 'Save All Information..' and upload the .txt file on http://pastebin.com/

    Next, head over to your FGunZ folder and do the following;
    Find the mlog.txt file > open it > copy the content written inside > paste it on http://pastebin.com/ and share the results here.

    After that, while you still have the FG folder opened, open the config file with any txt editable program (Notepad for example).
    In the video tab, make sure your resolution matches mine;

    Code:
    <WIDTH>1366</WIDTH><HEIGHT>768</HEIGHT>
    Archetype;
    Code:
    <MAPTEXTURELEVEL>8</MAPTEXTURELEVEL>
    Full screen;
    Code:
    <FULLSCREEN>FALSE</FULLSCREEN>
    On the ETC tab;
    Code:
    <SHOWFPS>TRUE</SHOWFPS>
    After that save your config file, run FG, log on to your account and join a room.
    When you do that, take a screenshot or simply inform me how many FPS you had after you changed your config file.

    That means you don't have user permission..

    Log on as an administrator to the server that can host the user's redirected folders. Locate the top-level folder that can hold the user's redirected documents (for example, D:\Redirected, which is shared as \\Server\Redirected\) by using Windows Explorer.
    Right-click the folder, and then click Properties.
    Click the Security tab > open every single user that's inside the "Group or user names:" list.
    Example > "SYSTEM", click on Edit > in order to give full access to the SYSTEM user you must tick the Allow button which applies for "Full Control";

    After that you just click OK and close all the sheets and/or other boxes.

    When you do that you'll have permission to edit your config file.
    Also, when you upload something on pastebin I requested, just post it here, don't tell me that you only uploaded it without sharing the link.

    Did you change your config file.
    If so, when you entered a room, what was your FPS?
