quick tut for new players.

to send and accept group invites, Press escape then click social.

in this tab you can see which players are online and in what faction. you can also see your repuation with the factions

if you open the map you can see where your group members are located.

to send a player a group invite click the + next to their name, to accept an invite there is a small box near the bottom of the social screen which has your group requests.

/group to talk in group chat, you will automatically talk in group chat until its reset

/say to talk in normal chat, same applies as above.

/tribe to talk in tribe chat, same applies as above.

F1 to toggle chat on and off, you can also set in options to have the chat appear every time something happens AKA someone typing or someone dieing. [ quite useful]

few rules to go by

1. Always be stealthy, go round players or monsters if u can. use your melee weapons when your fighting mutants, gunfire will attract more mutants and bandits.
2. Do not trust anyone straight off the bat, some players are very helpful but there are also players that will lead you out of the safezone and kill you.
3. Outside of the safezones its generally shoot on sight, especially if they are in a different tribe from you.
4. when you kill someone dont immediatly grab the loot, hide nearby and watch out incase he has buddies.
5. From Riverside outpost to Lakeside is a very heavily populated area, very dangerous for pvp.
6. Always try to team up with players.
7. Only take what you need, dont risk your only handgun and ammo if your just wandering around, your gonna be killed alot to begin with until you get the hang of the game.
8. Safezones arent always safe, at any moment the mutants can attack. You cannot fight in safezones unless this happens, then it becomes a giant PVP zone with mutants running around mad.

to fix the zone there are a number of devices to repair, they look like grey generators attached to lampposts with large red lamps on top.

you have an hour to fix the zone, if its not fixed after the hour then the zone is down for another full hour.

9. When you log off, put all of your items that are valuable in your global storage, when you log back in you will have spawned somewhere random in the world and you may die trying to get back.

I liked it yeah, pretty much shows off surviving, you'll die if someone wants your stuff, easy as that.
