Advanced Account Protection

Freestylers,

A new feature has been added which makes it possible for you to bind your account to:
- Your IP or an IP range.
- Your ISP (Internet Service Provider)
- Your country.

The function can be found here: http://fgunz.net/protection (requires you to login first)

In case you enable one of the settings and someone else logged into your account, the user will be disconnected shortly after and your account will be banned.
After that, an email will be sent to the email address of your account with a link to unban your account. The function works almost the same for the website login, but only blocks the login request.

If your IP changes a lot, you should not select the first or second option in the IP list, unless you know exactly what your IP range is.
The function should work as intended, but bugs can happen.

Note that we don't support account sharing, and never will. In case you get locked out of your account because whoever you're sharing your account with enabled the protection setting, I will NOT provide any support.

If you only enable country protection and someone from the same country tries to login, it will not block the login or find a mismatch, no.

The function works almost the same for the website login, but only blocks the login request.

It shows my full, current IP at the bottom on fgunz.net/protection. But on fgunz.net/account it shows the IP of the last person who was using my account. My question is if another player logs into my account and goes to the protection page, will it show the Current IP they are logging in with or show my info like on the account section? It won't be delayed right?

The IP at fgunz.net/account is the last login attempt IP.
The IP's at the protection page are of the person who is viewing the page, so that means it's never delayed.

I wonder if this feature would be better than not getting a virus or keylogger for someone to obtain a pass that's 14 chars long mnemonic code password with numbers and letters, or I'll just be safe with the pass lol

Don't download dumb programs that might contain malware and you'll never have issues with your account even if your password is a 10 bit one.
