I'm trying to get into Durarara, what makes it so good?

Durarara is a collaboration by the studio Brains Base / writer Ryohgo Narita who previously created Baccano. Between the storyline, action scenes, awesome opening sequence. Durarara is a interesting anime.

pros:
good openings,endings, ost they were really amazing
art /animation are fantastic especially in the fighting scenes
really depth into the dark side of human psychology

Cons:
pretty long introduction, you will require some patiences
lot of characters in this show so they don't really focus on 1 MC.
does not individuality focus on a character you might like and can get annoying.

Even if you have not seen Baccano , Durarara is still worth watching, though some of the references may be lost to you seeing as how Baccano and Durarara take place in the same era.

Overall, based on what you watch I'm sure you'll find it enjoyable!!!
