I can see the sound card in device manager and it also says drivers up to date,
I actually have no idea about this kind of things tho,
Also plugging in other earphones and speakers dont help so the problem is in pc, probably software idk.... halp ktnx
Oh i also have 2 os on this pc idk if that effects anythin, sound works fine on windows xp

Also my mouse keeps dcing and reconnecting,
Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0, but not sure if its pcs fault because it does the same on my laptop aswell
Maybe any suggestions about this too, Ill get a new mouse and see if this shits gone tho

    1. Control Panel
    2. Hardware and Sound
    3. Under "Sound", click "Manage audio devices"
    4. If you're using speakers, make sure your default device is set on "speakers" (click "Set Default")

I don't know if this may help you 'cause there are countless ways on fixing sound problems.

Try disabling and re enabling the sound card?
Try uninstalling the sound card, restarting PC and let the PC reinstall added hardware (sound card)

Your mouse probably has a dodgey cable, I'd just replace it.

that's the audio card, it's not detecting any speakers, right click and see if there are any hidden devices.

btw, are you sure the speakers are in the right slot?

well... so i did what pharaoh said.... uninstalled etc etc didnt work
I can see the sound card... but I cant see my earphones or speakers anywhere when I connect them, im sure I plug them in the right place

I noticed that Ethernet Controller drivers not installed or something...(btw what does ethernet controller do? )
Also if my device manager window is open while my mouse dcs and rcs I can see all the devices dissapear and turn up again instantly
idk if any of that is connected to my sound problem lol

anyways my mouse is pissing me off so hard, i just dont have patience for this right now

oh and windows installed drivers for sound card automaticly i guess...? so idk shud i do anything manually there?

    1. Control Panel
    2. Hardware and Sound
    3. Under "Devices and Printers", click "Device Manager"

As you can see, these devices have their own drivers. You can see them by double clicking the device.
Update what needs to be updated by right clicking the driver and click "Update Driver Software".

There you have two options. You can try any of them but I recommend the first one.

Ethernet controller is for using the internet with an Ethernet cable.

If you are plugging anything into the sound card, of corse speakers won't be detected, just the card itself. Try reseating the card or disable the card and try onboard sound first.
