Indeed I am not a believer either, however i also disagree with the scientific view on the topic.

The truth is that I don't know how and neither care for ''how''. I am here now at this moment and not a whole lot of billion years ago.

if God made everything so easy to get what is the point of letting us humans go through suffering? Everyone can have what they want and they will not appreciate what they have since everything is so easy.

On a serious note, I personally choose not to believe in any higher deity. If you do, I respect that. You're free to think what you want. I just don't believe it. I have no proof of the non-existence, but I have strong doubts. I'd rather believe something I feel more secure about.

The only thing I like about religion and following the word of God is that the messages it spreads can instill some good values in young children that will follow them throughout their lives. But I don't believe the ONLY way to learn those values and live a good life is by believing in this God, worshiping him, and following his word. Human beings are more than capable of forming these values on their own (without having ever even heard of God before), passing them down to future children, and deciding what they feel is moral/immoral, right/wrong and what not. If you feel the only way this is possible is through following and worshiping a God, I respect that. But I personally don't feel that way.

And before Faky says "you didn't answer my question blah blah blah go edit your post," to completely answer your question, I think man made God and God is a figment of our imaginations.
