I don't get why you'd bully someone just because he likes boys / she likes girls.
Would you bully someone just because he/she doesn't like chocolate (which is for an example, your favourite food)?
Hating someone because of that is just pointless.
Now about wanting to be treated specially / be special. It is not something exclusively that only gay / transgender people do. So let's please not stereotype, we pretty much know about that emo facebook girl that keeps listening to "Sia - Breathe Me" and posting depressing status.
