you can increase your fps without a game booster
all u need to just click on adjust for best performance & disable every software programs that is not important for your system from task manager or remove it from startup list so it wont start again after rebooting
try to play gunz with 800x600 resolution and very low settings

These programs do not work, the only thing they can do is free up some ram , you will lose time with that ..., a fix is use low resolution, low settings if not buy a ram ...

These programs work exactly as intended... They aren't magical programs that will "boost" your games, all they do is close applications + services which allows your computer to focus and allocate more resources to the game.
You don't need these programs, just adjust your startup applications and adjust/stop any services but if you can't be bother with doing these things manually then these programs do just that.

On Windows I believe freeing up RAM using 3rd party applications is useless because the operating system is constantly doing that itself.

The real fix is getting a better computer or hardware because optimization can only take you so far.
