What do you think about the idea of enchanting weapons to make them stronger?
Possibly with rare materials obtained from hard dungeons or something?

This was on my long-term todo list. The problem is, really, I'd need to make a whole new UI piece for crafting.
The idea behind this was you could +1 to 9 a weapon or item by sacrificing an item of the same rarity, and an enchantment powder that drops from bosses. There would be a 3-35% chance depending on rarity of the enchantment powder for +1'ing the item. Items could down-tier once they hit 5 -> 6 and higher. They will have a 50/50 chance at breaking going from 8 -> 9. An item that is plus'd gets 0.2 multiplier per level.
There will also be a donation version of the enchantment powder that gives 100% success rate if used.
Nice Update's SOP

Appearence//Appearence
atm you're already able to sacrifice an iLvl item, which will increase iLvl for bosses, however when obtaining an iLvl9 item (for example) the damage will be the same as the iLvl5 item (with same rarity of course). Just a small epic fail i discovered xD
The scaling is a bit broken right now. I'm looking into fixing it. Thanks for the report!
edit: I just double checked. It depends on the base damage of the item. I'm going to try and check the delay versus the damage and see if I can calculate a 'DPS' of an item so item level scales better on higher delay, higher damage items (like snipers, some rifles, revolvers, pistols etc)
