Sniper users can just make a room without the tag. Besides, why not trial it for a few weeks. I honestly doubt a lot of rooms would utilize the tags, especially considering half of the server wouldn't even be aware of the tag for another year...

And why are roomtags not being added in preparation for v8?

Well dave, in order to make everyone happy you could create a no sniper room tag, just so that the people who dislike the snipers can create their own games with the no sniper game tag. That would probably be the only way to sort it because im my opinion snipers should be 2 hit shots which they are now

If we add such roomtag, I'm pretty sure it will be used in almost every room.

The fact that you know it will be used in nearly every room should be more than enough for you to understand that something needs to be done.
I'm personally leaning towards the HP/AP reduction.

the fact you guys wont add this is retarded, most people who only use the V roomtag would also utilize this. Theres is only ever 1 or 2 tdms that are normal(not infected with a million room tags) and when a sniper comes in it normally kills the room. 99% of the people who play with just V wanna play the game the way it was intended to be played not this bullshit newgen version of having to 2 play like cod hiding in cover 90% of the time. Revs were always ment to be the "snipers of gunz" and fg has pretty much destroyed that.

I've posted this suggestion before.

[v] tag is basically ijji mode. Modify it to only allow ijji weapons and items. Such as shotguns, revs, kodachis, and whatnot.

It got denied, obviously. I don't think the snipers were a big deal as long as the [V] tag had been modified. But apparently that's too hard. This suggestion would satisfy almost everyone rofl.
