Hey, havent been on for a while but i just decided to hop on today, but it seems like I might be having a resolution issue (black screen but audio is still playing/tabbing out and tabbing in leaves a black box in top left corner) any help would be appreciated

Does that happen because of alt tabbing?

If you have Win 7, then do this:
    • Hold Windows Key (on the keyboard) and press R
    • Type in the Run box "msconfig" > press Enter
    • Once you've done that wait for System Configuration to popup.
    • Go to Startup tab and disable Adobe, Fraps and/or any software that might be using your VGA drivers such as Sony Vegas, GoPro Cam, etc.

If you have Win 8, then do this:
    • Open your Task Manager (Alt + Ctrl + Delete) or on the windows bar, right click > Task Manager.
    • Go to Startup tab.
    • Disable the same programs I mentioned earlier by pressing right click on them > Disable.

    What's your maximum windows resolution?
Are you sure you have the file named 'config.xml' inside your FGunZ folder?
If you do have that file, are you sure it's resolution is the same as your desktop one?

    max resolution:
    -1st monitor 1920x1080
    -2nd monitor 1366x768

    tried on both monitors separately.
(uninstalled and reinstalled Client but no config.xml)

    Let me get this straight.

You've tried reinstalling Gunz multiple times and you still don't seem to have a config.xml file within your Freestyle GunZ folder?

    Config.xml - http://www.filedropper.com/config_27

Download the above, locate your Freestyle GunZ folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Freestyle GunZ) and place the config.xml file in there, then launch FGunz.

    ---------------------------------------

If you do have the Config.xml file in your Freestyle GunZ folder then delete it and launch Gunz via the FGunz Launcher.
