    Greetings! I am Anion. The same Anion from in-game (AKA Onion, don't really know why maybe because I make people cry? That rhymed! ^.^)

    Anyways, I am new to 3D modeling and I am currently learning how to use SOLIDWORKS.

    Thus the following two keyblades were made in SOLIDWORKS with Oathkeeper being my first model and Oblivion my second.
    I chose to model keyblades because KH is in my top 3 all time favorite games ever, right below FF-X.
    I know the models are not much, but I am proud of my Oblivion model because I got the interlinking chains in the middle to work!
    (A frustrating process for me.)

    In addition, these keyblades were not intended for GunZ. Although I heard Blender can import SOLIDWORKS files, so maybe when I get better I will try to make them into GunZ weapons. In my opinion, having keyblades in GunZ would be epic!

    P.S. I still haven't learned how to render/texture, and that is on my to-do list. If anyone has any good tutorials for either I would really appreciate it!
    I heard KeyShot is a good program to use for rendering/texturing. Any opinions?

    Never played Kingdom hearts, I'm not into the whole Disney thing. I cant take anything serious if I fight besides Goofy and Donald duck lol

    They look pretty cool, Definetly dig the Oblivion one. I would actually love to see it in this game.

    I dont know anything about rendering/texturing, but I hope that you learn how to. Good luck!

    Ps. FF IX is waaaaaaay better!

    I never expected to be a KH fan either, but the story got deep and hit me on an emotional level. KH is definitely more than it appears to be on the surface.
    Such games are truly remarkable and very few can do that nowadays.

    AND NO FF-X #1. OKAY MAXING OUT 255 LUCK TO BEAT DARK AEONS IS LEGENDARY.

    I love Kingdom Hearts. Its been awhile since I last played it so im not really familiar with all the keyblades, but regardless I think your models look pretty cool.

    @ Prone: Thank you for your comment! I'm just starting out and I plan on modeling keyblades to get better. Ultima Weapon from KH 1 is next on my list. That one is going to be painful. /Fingers-crossed

    Some different angles would help too. It's kinda hard to judge when I can't see the models from different angles.
    Sure hope you can find a good texturing tut.
    Also (I know it's KH) some smoother edges would look better. (they seem kinda flat, cut-out-of-wood like).

    Other then that I like the oblivion a lot more than the oathkeeper (also cause the oathkeeper looks way too flat to me).

    Other then that this looks really good for someone that is still figuring out his/her way around a new program.
