    A friend of mine, ImSoPro14, is having issues with seeing NAT and having higher ping than he had previously.
    He used to see his fellow Israeli players as 10-20 ping, whereas he is now getting upwards of 100.
    From my understanding this is server sided, however I am not entirely sure.
    He is on a Local Area Network connection as I TV'd him to try and help port forward, so this isn't the issue.
    Only one other person on the connection at the same time as him.
    Any hopes to resolve this issue or does it fall under the same category as the --- ping CW issue, and we just have to wait for the return of the infamous Linear88?

    When he's getting NAT, it means that all his connections are tunneled through the server which means that his traffic needs to travel more to reach its destination.
    Port forwarding should open up the ports so GunZ can (try to) connect directly to other players.

    If he's getting it in any room, not just CW, then it's a problem on his own PC/network.
    It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
    I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
    There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
    And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

    How do you portforward LAN connection?
    Edit: I'll Google it. I always thought it was for wireless connections only

    Yeah well I was suppose to help him but I had family dinner and I can't dump them because a guy has NAT issues, next time check my FAQ thread, everything is explained there regarding NAT..

    I helped set up the port forwarding, although I'm not sure if it was done correctly as it didn't seem to work.
