So, since i upgraded to Windows 10 which i immediately regret, my fps has been unstable as ****.

My fps can go up to about 1000-1200 but it's not stable anymore. When I max it at 250, it goes 180-280. This is very annoying while playing.
It doesn't really matter what i max the fps at, cuz it will go over it and be unstable as **** anyway.

I had Windows 7 before and it used to be steady 250 working like a charm.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance

There are no suggestions that would help you.
    Only one solution;
Format your HDD and install Win 10 fresh.
Do NOT upgrade from Win 7/8/8.1 to 10 because it would screw up your whole drivers.

I forget to mention I am a computer retard and idk how to do that.

Isn't there anything that could help?

I'd appreciate it if this thread stays open for people to maybe help me

+ is the fgunz development team going to try and fix this? I can imagine other people are having the same problems. I hear alot about it ingame.

FGunZ developers don't work for Microsoft you know that, right?
Microsoft (the one who released Win 10) should be the one to fix their Win 10 upgrade because it's pretty damn crappy.
Anyway, search over the tech forums regarding windows formatting, shouldn't be too hard to do.

I doubt it's GunZ being incompatible with W10.
Maybe a clean install of your drivers could help?

That won't help, drivers are not compatible with Win 10 yet and microsoft are way too dumb to release windows that soon with so many bugs.
Only thing he could do is format his HDD and install clean Win OS.

some drivers are not fully compatible with win10 yet and it could be alot of things e.g. driver conflicts n such so its not really something fgunz dev/staff could do right now

You should download dxtory to limit your FPS.

It will work that way, trust me. A few friends use it, and it makes their FPS stable.
