[Help - Other] FPS / Screen freeze

I got 3 problems while playing the game ! Hope u guys are helpful

1)While playing in some maps my FPS ruin like : Port / Garden ...

2)While playing the game my screen gets freezed for about 2-3 seconds
And then gets back to normal !!! With that trouble players gonna say "N-stepping" !!?

3) While playing players said that I am spiking ! I checked everything in the background
No browser on nothing is running only the game booster! I tried to turn it off and back to the game
And still the same thing ! Also I'm not sharing my net just my phone that is connected too.
It's kind of a neat spike '-'

Maybe that would help u to solve my problem: i'm using a laptop !

the 1st and 2nd problem are happening to me too that's because of the graphic card is bad,iam using pc so maybe your labtop is old or something

For 1 and 2: go to your gfx-cards settings and turn of antialiasing (you might want to disable reflection effect too in the video options for fgunz).

For 3: You could try wlan optimizer (it disables windows constant search for updates in the background and might help improve your internet, you can turn this on/off, comes with some explanation on how to use it too, it's not that complicated though). If you use wireless internet try an internet cable first.

This worked for me!

1. Go to task manager disable all of the start-up programs.
2. Restart your computer.
3. Open freestyle gunz.
4. Go to task manager > details, find Gunz.exe and right click it, then set priority to high.

This boosted my fps and got rid of screenlag but this doesn't get rid of it completely, if screen lag starts happening again do the same thing again.

p.s: it could be the game booster causing the screenlag aswell, anyways wait for a staff to respond before trying out any of these suggestions.

Do some tests, run gunz with the game booster and without it, see if it makes a difference screen lag wise.

If you're experiencing fps lag, disable lightmapping & reflections, then change your screen to be 16bpp & 16bit texture quality, that should alleviate most fps problems.

What are your pc's specifications, it might just be too weak to run gunz. Lower the resolution, disable lightmapping an dreflection, change the resolution bits per pixel to be 16bpp, and disable dynamic lighting.
