I'd have to say no to this, it would be in the way of a lot of things, for example seeing people in Events.
Another reason would be the 8v8 TDMs, the names would just mess it up even more considering if players were hiding near each other, it would be hard to tell from a longer distance.

As i have experienced it myself. From my point of view i don't think it was that annoying but yeah when there's allot of people in the room it is annoying. wouldn't be better if adding something to the room options for disabling it or enabling it?
