    Yes or No?

I say no. The Death Penalty should not be legal. The state has no right to take away a person's life, basically it is the state convicting murder. Also, the cost of putting someone on death row is INSANELY expensive. Jury selections, trials, and long appeals all cost money to the state - this is taxpayer money. Keeping someone in jail would cost extremely less than keeping someone on death row. Also, the chance of a wrong conviction being sent to death. More than 130 people who have been on death row has been exonerated (proved innocent). Also, it IS a fact that the Death Penalty is "imperfect". A 2005 study found that the death penalty was three to four times more common amongst those who killed whites than those who killed African Americans or Latinos, while those who kill women are three and a half times more likely to be executed than those who kill men.

No. Living out life in prison is a far worse sentence. You even have a chance of getting raped.

no, if im not wrong it's hella expensive for the state. Might as well lock the degenerates up in a cell till they rot (which is still not cheap but w.e, costs less)

A man kills 4 people on a subway. The entire country knows he did it.

Do we let him live and continue to let the families of the deceased weep, while the criminal basks in free food and minimal labor?

Why bother debating on such subjective matters, as long as there are different ideologies, there will never be an objective answer for this matter.

And I'm just wasting my time typing all this garbage... Here's a pic of
What pro death penalty is like in the country of Taiwan .l
Yellow far left(death penalty oppostion): if we pardon his death penalty, there won't be anymore victims!
Middle yellow(civil rights lawyer): life is precious...
Far right yellow(government): a country that opposes the death penalty has a better public image..

Ultimately, the verdict should depend on the severity of the situation.
But this opens much more questions.
Does a drunk driver that killed someone must also die?

An eye for an eye makes the whole world go blind?

    It's a controversial topic indeed...
