For some reason it looks like it is mirrored (the background, but I know it is not.. right XD?

Honestly I think you done a better job the first time, this time, there are certain parts of the image where the smudge is overused and it is clearly visible in comparison to other parts of the image. Despite this, it still looks good though so just keep at it and you'll find yourself improving the quality of your smudging dramatically.
