If you mean you've been playing it through a virtual machine sure, and the reason it stopped working is FGUnZ doesn't run on virtual machines.

I've also been playing Fgunz for about 2 years through wine, untill a few days ago!
Have the same message.

Just tested it and it won't run on the new el capitan but it will work on mavericks tho
