Could you actually get the image scanned? since it will be alot of work colouring on a photo taken by a camera. might be more tempting for people too

i dont have a scanner and my bf tried illustator he said photos not good enough

Give me time and I'll try something in Illustrator (to make it look more smooth), this can take up a week or two since I am busy with irl stuff and dev crap.
