How we currently testing it is that it is only visible for you.
In the 1337 options you would be able to select a few colours, if you select one, all the trails would be that colour and only for you to see.
This way you would not have to equip it and others would not get annoyed by it cause it could be white if you did not pick a colour.

It looks fine but it is just... useless, I don't think there are many people who use sword trail, I don't see the point, there is already colored dashes so why would you add such thing :/.
