So i had the problem with -- ping and i was told to do portforwarding. i did everything exactly like it said but it ruined my whole internet for 3 hours. everything had to be reset and i needed to call many times with my providers. so im not planning on trying to do it again but do want this solved.

the thing i noticed: why does it work one day and not the other? for example i played yesterday and the day before it worked. then the day before that and today it didnt work. whats the reason for this?

and isnt there an other way to do this since i have 2 routers its harder to portforward then and i would like it if there is an other better way.

    thanks please leave your idea's.

Port forwarding solves a NAT issue, do you see the message NAT configuration when u enter a room?

You could try to look into your routers settings and see if it has an uPnP (universal plug and play) option.

It can randomly stop working because most routers give out dynamic LAN IP's.
When you port forward, you usually have to input your current LAN IP so if your PC is turned off and other devices start to connect to the router, it may give that IP to another device in the network and thus giving you the wrong LAN IP when you boot your PC again.

You'll have to bind your PC its MAC address to a static LAN IP in your router somewhere and then use that IP at the port forwarding table.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

mine solves by itself to but then it works for 2-3 days and comes back again and then 4-5 days works and comes back again. its so weird.
i can call my isp, i did last time because of the portforwarding that went wrong but maybe if there is no other solution i can always still call them and ask if they can do it maybe. ill see if there is no other way

i will call me isp for it and explain everything if it isnt solved, maybe they can do it for me since last time i did portforward i somehow ruined everything.
