If you want to put a GIF as your profile picture, first thing you have to do is to resize it 200x200.
If you want to put it as an avatar, resize it by 150x150 (since you're a non-VIP member).

200x200 still work for non-vips. My current avatar is 200x200 without any errors or pop-ups.

It just depends on the total file size. You might even be able to do 250x250 sometimes.

Ot; I think gif avatars and signatures shouldn't even be here because they make pages load slower.

I don't like seeing a bunch of animated avatars/profile pictures, only a few usergroups can use it and I'd rather keep it that way.
