Merging servers

Not going to happen, especially considering the server you want us to 'merge' with. Without dropping an 'advertisement ' the owner is known for exploting his own GunZ for his own advantage as well as his friends, why would anyone wanna lead/own a server along side him.

The phrase 'desperate times call for desperate measures' in terms of that other server, FGunZ is still pulling in a significant amount of players in regards 'X' Server as well as any other server that is still possibly up and running...

If players were truly concerned about GunZ staying active then they would all congregate to one server without the necessary means of merging.

Only one other server had a staff team up to par with you guys here and it died pretty much after it launched because of no playerbase at all. They had some really nifty graphical increases and awesome custom item's/map's. Not to mention entirely new quests.

Other then this server there's none more worth mentioning. They just can't get their non-donor shit straight and keep on adding more and more overpowered donor shotguns to the point of them killing non donors with 1 hit '-'. So I doubt any merge would benefit this server balance wise. Most just want to force people to donate in order to play properly.

Balance is least of the issues, as you can read from polls, the more oldschool feeling it has, the more favoured it is. Population is the problem, as you mentioned yourself.

We're not interested in merging and there are multiple reasons:

• We are absolutely not interested in merging into another server and pretty much losing everything we have and had.

And if another server were the merge into us, which is never going to happen either:

• Staff members of the other server also probably want to keep their rank, we don't want to just "accept" staff members to the team we don't know.
• The owners also probably want access to the server, control panels, donation accounts, etc. which we don't want to do. Why would we randomly trust someone we don't even know?
• Moving over accounts/characters from the other server is going to be impossible, it's very likely that account/character names already exist.
