    already did that

guess you need to wait for dave or george, I'm sure either of them can help you
this is my first time seeing this to be honest I have absolutely no clue of what caused it

since it's your first time installing it, and you didn't format your pc and your drivers are up-to-date (assuming), I have no clue

Launcher.exe/GunZ.exe/GunZ64.exe can't be added to the DEP PREVENTION (...).

Bumping for the little guy, he's been asking for help since yesterday and waited patiently, anyone has any idea on how to fix this?

It's been a long time ever since I teamviewered someone but I could give it a shot, investigating the issue might take long time though.

    greatly appreciated
    here's what I tried

    • switching both anti virus and firewall off
    • excluding it
    • re-installing the game
    • check for missing files
    • he didn't have config.xml so I gave him mine
    • DEP

and from here I'm out of ideas

I don't think it has anything to do with the FG itself, more likely a messed up software issue.

Config.xml has nothing to do with it.

If the issue is still not found I suggest a clean install of the pc, it looks like this issue can happen with other programs/games in the future.

I'm going to perform a clean install of my OS soon, I'll come back to you here when I've done that.

    I'm going to install w7 x64.
