but for vip, then its not necessary, 99% of the vips are already aware there's a vip event

Yes, they are aware of the VIP Event coming up, but instead of having them continuously go back/forth to the thread, they can easily see it with the new timer!

And again, this suggestion would make it so they won't have to, it would just be there with a link on the timer, if they want to see what the event is.

With my suggestion, it would only say VIP Event In-game.
With Zachs suggestion, which completely improves mine, there will be a timer that I'd imagine, only VIPs would be able to see. It would be a lot easier to set up if there was just a timer at the top of the chatbox.

Also, as far as I'm aware the people who host the VIP event do host it when they actually plan and don't delay it, don't know where that came from. Should talk to someone about that instead of bitching on the forum about it

I do not say that someone does delay it, just kind of pointing out that if you stick to the schedule and people use their eyes an new timer on top of the chatbox wouldn't be needed :c.
But personally I do not mind having one.
