Nope. It's like an index for anime. You can create your own list of anime that you are watching, have completed, have on hold, have dropped and are planning to watch. It's just so you can keep track of everything. It has lists for the most popular anime (most fans), best scoring, top airing series, etc.

MAL also has a forum as well.
