Some Christian denominations celebrate Christmas on 7th of January, but most celebrate it on 25th of December or 24th
My Christian denominate supposed to celebrate it on the 7th of Jan, but we are uniting with other denominations and celebrating it on 24th/25th instead.

    In general:
    • 24th is Christmas evening
    • 25th is Christmas

    Dutch version:

    • 25th = 1st Christmas day
    • 26th = 2nd Christmas day

    It's the same in Portugal.
Little Jesus was/is the one who brings gifts, for the conservative catholic people (oral / folk stories).

Nowadays, Xmas marketing strategy bombs this country earlier (Oct / Nov).
You can see Shitmas stuff everywhere.

People are like ants on drugs this days: They will buy you as a Xmas gift, if you don't step aside in shops, or prepare to fight for the last chocolate or socks.

    *beep* you, Coke Santa.

christmas eve = 24th open presents, dance around christmas tree etc. 25th is christmas day where you don't really do much except from partying (in my country)

You don't celebrate Christmas Eve lol, you just celebrate Christmas. The only difference is the day you celebrate it on may vary. Some people with divorced parents (like me for example) may celebrate it with one parent on Christmas Eve and with the other parent on Christmas Day. Some people celebrate it on Christmas Eve because their parents have work on Christmas Day and won't have time to open presents. It all just varies lol.
