I like it but I think that there should be more detail around the focal as it isn't too dissimilar from the left and right sides of the graphic. Another thing is the font. I'm personally not a fan with the simple style that you have used because it doesn't particularly go well with the design of the orange and blue lines. Apart from that I really like it.

I personally believe the font would indeed go with the rest of the picture if the font were brought to a darker color. The overall style is probably the reason he used the font in the first place, putting on an over emphasized font would probably kill the design.
I do agree with the focal, a bit more design could've been slapped around it.
