    Pills & Vials - Nerf? Remove? Keep? Vote Today!

    Suggestion Description

    Our almighty leader Dave decided to get rid of the vials and pills completely, disabling the entire strategic part of the gameplay when it comes to meds. I completely disagree with the decision to remove them and honestly I wish there was a voting process (staff wise) of their opinions, today I gathered a few players and asked them their opinion of the idea of them being completely removed, here are some of the answers. Note that they are cropped because I whispered like a shit ton of people so I only cropped out the answers I got from the ones who replied.




















    Now, my concern is what the players think of the removal of all pills and vials - I mean you might be completely for removing them, but if you are, I want you to vote WHY. The only argument/concern I have heard so far is that the ability to run/dash/walk and med at the same time results in meds being OP. Did you know that the highest level of a pill (Recovery Pill V3) only adds 9+ HP per one use, meanwhile the In-Game Shop medkit (Medical Kit RX III) adds 20+ HP for one use? So, I saw no reason for the HP increase amount to be "OP", again, the only argument that was brought up was the ability to move/shoot and med at the same time.

    Now, I do know that some players also mention "oh it brings back the oldgen/oldschool feeling", but the meds were there at the same time as the vials/pills were, why not use them if they wanted that type of feeling? Both meds were available to use, yet everyone seemed to only use vials/pills, and if not everyone, then majority.

    If you feel like vials/pills should be removed, explain why or vote on the poll system available - same goes for if you want them to remain they way they are. If you have anymore poll ideas, please tell me and I will add them.

    Any troll posts/comments will be reported or removed, this is a serious discussion and I wish to keep it as clean and organized as possible.

    i thought it was already said that they will be balanced and that we could choose depending on our style
    but i guess removing them was easier??

    anyway ot : keep everything, balance them so we can see diff playstyles etc.

    We didn't have vials/pills before V7 and it was totally fine, not a problem at all. I don't see why it's a problem now.
    Something to keep in mind is that we're definitely not returning them to how they were.
    It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
    I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
    There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
    And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.

    Problem right here: Gets rid of Uber Meds. Gets rid of Vials and Recovery Pils. Now time to get rid of the Donor Meds and replace them with the old Meds. Problem solved.

    It's a problem because people got used to them. Personally, I don't really care, can play with either.
    Remove acceleration vials tho, at least the donor ones, it's basically a legit speed hack. Accel vials just got even stronger since you have to pretty much stand still to heal now...

    Saying that without pills and vials, donation meds are going to be OP is ridiculous in my opnion. I don't believe pills and vials should be available, even if their stats are nurfed.
