it should not be removed because of people who have bad pc.
if your pc is not good enough to handle this game then upgrade it or just simply quit playing because somking grenade was always a part of this game.

Gunz settings; http://pastebin.com/dcb8pi4Z (everything on high, antialiasing 3 = x8 multisampling)

What are the specs of you people with fps drops during smoke screens anyways?
    Like gunz is a game from 2004 ... :c

Meh my GFX-card is the problem for that, outdated Nvidia 315M. But I don't drop below 200 fps unless i go stand in the smoke (which drops pretty bad ~50).

Apparently the FPS lagg caused by smoke grenades are fixed.
It's not likely that we'll remove them if above problem is fixed.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.
