It would require a different implementation method to be 100% accurate. Dmg counter and antilead are best designed hand in hand. 99% accurate would be easy enough but that last 1% to get to 100% requires checks to be put in place and almost as much code as the first 99%. If you want it done right. Its good enough as is.
