OT: i like how you clip and cut out the characters and put them on different backgrounds. But a tip, make the panning and zooming flow more with the music to give a sense of direction. still nice how the video syncs with the music too

Well, it's not bad per say, but I honestly think you've got lots of work to do.

I guess I'd say start by focussing on the song, make it so the animation etc follows the music.

You can have the beat on the animation cuts, or on whatever's the animation showing.

I strongly suggest you look at Ileia's channel. Probably the best AMV maker out there, it's pretty freaking impressive. Just go take a look and see how she does it.
Small exemples of what I mean't using Ileia here.

You can see especially at the beggining, the cuts happen on the notes.

Watch the beggining, you can see how the animation's what's following the beat (hand clapping).


But yeah, although there's a lot to work on, it's a good first try I think But I'd really advise looking at a few of Ileia's.
