Is it possible that people can define who other people are just by their persona?

I find it weird how we can question other people then do the exact same thing to contradict why we questioned them in the first place, we all experience different things at different times and this made me think, “maybe we just see things through different eyes”, but every time I've saw someone question something some other person has done, then they come to the same experience, they act the nearly exactly the same, or in a way that makes you think, “You hypocrite”.

Just makes me think do people have principles or any self-respect to keep to what they say or do they just do what they do at the time and how they feel?

Open for debate if this makes sense to you.

people are quick to assume they are good and to help support that thought they point out mistakes in others to help them keep that mind set, so when someone says something like "you should take showers more often" or w.e, yet disregard their own hygieian most of the time it's for their own ego. or perhaps, it's their parents speaking out through them to you trying to tell you how to live ,remembering their own past criticisms, but only remember by seeing another person do it. anyways, it really doesn't matter, everyone has been a hypocrite once in a while cuz no one's perfect

Know your limits. If you wish to speak above others and to be held in high regard forever among legends, you must pause the game and have an infinite power source. You are only as grand as the memory you leave them with. Practice does not make perfect. Practicing perfection does. Once the mountain has been climbed, there are few steps towards the cliff. Remember to enjoy the view because once you've reached the top, there's nowhere to go but down.

I know that no one's perfect. It's just my friend goes "Im not like him, I won't cheat on this girl, she's the ****ing one man and no word of a lie", then completely screws himself as he goes off kissing some random girl while up town and then brushes it off like nothing. I know nobodies perfect but really? That's the sort of contradiction I mean. But I get what you meant.

yeah people do do things like that sadly...the most important question is to ask why though..why does he choose someone then decide to slither to another withought consoling his significant other? do you think he's insecure or just unhappy with his choice but is not "man enough" to own up to his girlfriend because he thinks he'll hurt her but in the process does worse? another thought popped into my head... i know you're relatively young and it seems as though you're maturing faster than some people around you, which is awesome and gives you a mental advantage over them, but maybe he's just not mature enough to even be in a relationship right now. turns out girls are about 3 years ahead of us guys in maturing and she probably assumed he could handle a relationship still being a little boy...so then another question is raised... who's fault is it really?
