Need help(Network conection)

So yesterday,
My connection went from wired to wireless.
I tried the following:
-netsh int ip reset/netsh int ip resetc:\resetlog
-changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
-restarting the modem
But to no avail, im still on wireless network

Solved by changing my network port and setting my network adapter DNS to Preffered DNS:8.8.8.8 and Alternate DNS: 8.8.4.4
