Silencing Event Games

So, today we have been experiencing events where the GMs silence the evemt rooms permanently.

I understand this method works for True or False or Simon Says, but when this is being used during LMS or HNS it is really not just annoying, but also ruins all the fun in events, not all of us play for points. Not to mention the fact that team chat can't be used either and have to sit in silence and just stare into the screen until, for example in HNS or LMS, everyone dies.

We can live with that, it's called kick.

Suggesting removing silence for team chat is useless as that would just be their goto for spam.

I'm only going to use this command in events where it's important that you read what I write.
