I know this suggestion has already suggested and declined but I got some ideas to fix the problems.
Like : The spectate char is muted while spectate , Still can snitch trough skype and stuff ? There you go
When making the room there would be an option like >Spectate - On/Off < and pass for spectate mode (Optional)
There would also be an option to spectate clan wars but only on specific players which those chars need to accept this

Most games with a spectate mode like league havea minimum of 3 minutes, some games got 5.

30 secs delay for normal rooms 1-2 mins for cws sounds good.

There may be a CW spectate feature in the future, but it will come with limitations. E.g. by invitation only and you can only spectate one team.

Option to watch what happened in the room

For example, when the room is full people can only watch the game until one place is vacated.

I came up with this idea after I just wanted to watch some duel, and I had to rejon all over again...

I have seen this option in some other games. in the players table, there are the players who are active in the room and below the players names are watching or waiting for the room not to be full. Of course, the number of viewers / ppl who wait in the room will also be limited in number, and they won't be able to chat (or yes, I haven't decided)

I just thought, there aren't always those who want to play but just watch, that's what happened to me today. And even people who can't go into a room that is full, at least can supposedly take a seat and watch what's going on in the room.

It may sound silly... but I just wanted to share
