We have to keep it cool.

Yeah. The last thing we should do is give them block. There are other ways to balance. Ways most people dont think about even. Also they are missing a special attack...but that would require someone to make animations. *whistles nonchalantly*

I remember it was a spin?
At least some dev I knew had a spinning animation from a quest boss I think, we can look at it.

Adding block will make the large sword OP and the normal sword will be useless while playing gladitor

Never add block to Lswords (even with low damage) it's been done on multiple pservers and it was always a mistake.
-Sincerely everyone who knows how to play

If you want to balance Lswordx2 and have people decide between x1 x2 then give it speed decrease % like rockets or heavy mgs. If any weapon in the game should actually BE as heavy to move around as it looks it's the Large swords, and of course that goes double for Lswordx2. A % speed drop would easily solve the fact people nonstop run and kite with them and force them to eventually engage.

just some more v8 balance tips for FG

Don't worry, we will never add block to large swords... again.
It's a terrible thing, I think, in life to wait until you're ready.
I have this feeling now that actually no one is ever ready to do anything.
There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now.
And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now is as good a time as any.
