Snipers originally weren't even part of GunZ as a whole I don't know why some of you complain, at least for me they're fine as they are (I may be wrong since I don't use them a lot anyway) but in any case If I recall what was said by Dave, he mentioned that snipers MAY or MAY NOT get a change around their stats.

With your logic; shotguns should not be compensated with distance too, I know they're 2 different rifles but still.
