Is blitz mode coming to FGunz?

didn't linear worked on that gamemode? I have seen him play on it when it was released like 3 years ago.

Yes and no. Jeff was planning on doing it a while ago but back then ChallengeQuest wasn't finished.. and IIRC the challengequest game mode has to be functioning correctly for BlitzKrieg to function correctly as well. It is now but Jeff has been busy in recent events, he's pretty much over with unless he has a committed team on finishing it with him. (Yes there are other coders but they are busy too.)

At the moment I don't know if anyone's sure but if possible I'm sure we'll get it out to you guys.

Afaik linear never worked on blitzkrieg functionality, mainly due to the fact that challengequest absolutely has to be perfect before blitz can be worked on (fg's cq is good but not perfect, good enough to work on blitz tho). Unless I had a team of 4 people, with all 3 of them being about twice as good as myself, I don't plan on doing blitzkrieg. Spymode is being done though, and is largely in a completed state already. If secrets + linear will commit on doing blitzkrieg, I'll join them. Until then though, the work I have done on blitz is going to be on indefinite hiatus.

Rather see other things getting fixed/improved instead of adding something new.
It is an issue with a lot of games where they add new content while their old/current content isn't touched at all when needed.
